Pulse

In January of 2012 I partook in the 5th annual Global Game Jame, an international event where game makers across the globe unite to cooperatively create games. During GGJ I acted as the team audio director for a team of five on a horror point and click adventure titled Pulse that was heavily inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's short story the Tell-Tale Heart. As the audio director I created the music and minimal sound effects, and I also played a small role in the programming and art departments. The great experience I had at GGJ is detailed in my "Extracurricular Experiences" essay from my Common Application admission, attached below, along with a link to the playable level we completed and the songs I created for the game.

Upon hitting enter twice at the title screen, the music stops, so if you want to hear it wait a while before continuing. During the game stop during text screens to hear the music all the way through before the heartbeat sound interrupts it. If playing through the whole game make sure to investigate the bookshelf (from the right side) and the last rug, as those are the most unclear areas.
